The Vocabulary Team

Find below the members of the Vocabulary Team at Odysseus. These are the people that take care of the OHDSI Standardized Vocabularies that you can download from ATHENA. With the exception of Timur, they are all medical professionals with a profound knowledge in medical informatics.

Alexander Davydov	alexdavv	Alex is the Vocabulary Team Lead. He facilitates and oversees everything related to Vocabularies maintenance and improvement activities. Ontology world needs more Alexes to be a better place!
Oleg Zhuk	TinyRickC137	Oleg is OHDSI Vocabulary Tech Lead. He knows the bits and pieces of SNOMED inside out, is your person to ask everything drug vocabularies-related and simply has the deepest expertise in Vocabularies development and quality assurance.
Masha Khitrun	m-khitrun	Masha works through the various flavors of procedure catalogs (HCPCS, CPT4, ICD10PCS, etc.), keeps them available, mapped and in good shape.
Vlad Korsik	vladkorsik	Vlad is the master of Oncology concepts and takes a fair share in making Genomic vocabularies available. He is also the ETL Vocabulary Tech Lead - he knows everything about caveats of mapping your source vocabularies and data into OMOP CDM and OHDSI Standardized Vocabularies. Wake him up at night and he will tell you all about mappings and data standardization.
Mikita Salavei	MSalavei	Mikita has special expertise in the MedDRA classifications and their connections to SNOMED. He is also interested in new approaches for mappings (stay tuned for new discoveries!).
Irina Zherko	irinazherko	Irina has picked the conditions as her main field and is maintaining the ICD family. Thank her for condition mappings we all use!
Maria Rogozhkina	MariaRohozhkina	Maria chose the measurements and is an expert in LOINC now, but also helps maintaining the vaccines (are we over COVID-19 yet?). She likes playing with hierarchies and complex cases (have you checked out new smoking hierarchy yet?).
Varvara Savitskaya	varvarenius	Varya has taken over large parts of the Genomic vocabularies processing. Like a recent VANDF release? Thank her!
Anna Ostropolets	aostropolets	Anna leads the Vocabulary Working Group & pushes Vocabularies Improvement Initiative together with the Team. She also contributes to drug space. Want to complaint about RxNorm Extension or ATC? Find her on Forums or Teams.
Christian Reich	cgreich	Christian is the god-father of all OHDSI Vocabularies (and yes, that Mob-reference is still lingering in the air). He is your guy to discuss tricky questions.
