Last summer CoCalc migrated its infrastructure for scalability and security. This summer, we will upgrade several important aspects, which will require some downtime.
The round of upgrades includes these changes:
- Kubernetes 1.11
- PostgreSQL Database 10.4, which also involves maintenance of some large tables.
- Push all back-end services to run on Ubuntu 18.04 (from Ubuntu 16.04)
These upgrades will make CoCalc more robust, performant, and secure.
