Security Policy

Reporting a Vulnerability

We take the security of our project seriously. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, we encourage you to responsibly disclose it to us. Please follow these guidelines when reporting a vulnerability:

  • Disclosure Process: Private Reporting: Please report all security issues to our email address: security@exampleproject.com. Do not open public GitHub issues. Encrypt Communications: Whenever possible, use our PGP key to encrypt communications. You can find our public PGP key here.

  • Scope: We are interested in vulnerabilities that impact the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of our users' data or the general availability of the project.

  • Providing Details: Please provide a detailed description of the vulnerability, including information on the affected components, steps to reproduce, and potential impact.

  • Cooperation: We appreciate your cooperation and will work with you to verify and address the vulnerability promptly.

Supported Versions

The following versions of the project are currently supported with security updates:

Security Updates

Security updates will be provided for supported versions in a timely manner. Users are encouraged to update to the latest supported version to receive the latest security fixes.
