Who this is **NOT** for
This is a great plugin for many use cases. In fact, I think most. However, there are certain things it does not do and is not likely to ever do on it's own(However, it may become part of something that does).
This extension provides a granular method of clearing the history relating to I2P sites, but it does not strictly speaking do disk avoidance like Tor Browser does. It simply cannot, on it's own, in order to do so it probably must be integrated into a Tor Browser fork.
We might be able to pop a notification if you're about to open a file in like Windows Media Player or something, but if you proceed it's not my pig, not my farm. Again, this is a situation where this webextension can do nothing to help you.
Malicious Behavior by other extensions, or the OS, or anything that is not this extension is way, way way out of scope
Extensions can talk to eachother, sort of, but it pretty much has to be on purpose except for detection. In practical terms, it means that it's not reasonable to expect this extension to know anything about other extensions. Obviously it also cannot know much about the Firefox it is installed in or the OS it is running on, except what the more privileged program can tell it, which could easily be a lie. The only way to fix this is to control more of the stack, which is why a Tor Browser exists.
Ya download stuff. It's on your computer. Computer gets took, stuff gets seen. MPAA uses grotesque copyright law to sue your descendants into poverty over your pirated copy of Game of Thrones(Which sucks, by the way) because the world is a completely unreasonable place run by disgusting self-entitled rich dudes who wouldn't know what a real job was if they were beaten to death by school custodians with push-broom handles. But thus is life in the file-sharing community, buy the ticket, take the ride.
Your HTTP Proxy is not re-configured in any way for this plugin(yet). That may change in the future.
