What's Changed
The backend weather API service is being switched from weatherbit.io to weatherapi.com.
There should be no noticeable difference from a user perspective at this time.
Why is this changing?
weatherbit.io has fairly expensive monthly costs in comparison to weatherapi.com
weatherapi.com provides a lot more forecast weather data included at no additional cost. This opens up more opportunity to continue to expand the live weather capabilities of the platform in the future!
