The Basemap tab allows you to set the default base map to use for your site. Additionally, you can use the map to set your default extent.

Set your Default Base Map

You can select your desired default base map by clicking on any of the radio buttons beside the map you wish to use. Upon selecting one, the map panel will automatically update to display your new default base map.

Set your Initial Extent

To set an initial extent, you can pan and/or zoom the map until you've reached your desired starting location.
