This release includes playable executables of the game Sonic Time Twisted. You can choose the Virtual Machine (VM) build for better compatibility or the YoYo Compiler (YYC) build for better performance.

Changelog:

  • Various assets were removed from the project in order to reduce compilation time and save disk space. (#34, #35, #36)
  • The platform beneath the end-of-level capsule in Tidal Tubes Zone Act 2 (both Future and Past versions) has been extended to prevent a soft-lock. (#30)
  • A blank power-up icon in the third Future Special Stage was changed to a Flame Shield power-up. (#38)
  • The in-game timer now pauses with the game itself while in a Special Stage. (#39)
  • Two monitors with blank icons found near the beginning of Viridian Valley Zone Act 1 (Future) were updated to a Rock Shield Monitor and a Big 10 Ring monitor, respectively. (#42)
  • The player character no longer loses their previous shield power-up if they exit a Future Special Stage without collecting a new shield. (#51)
  • The lights emitting from the lamps in Attraction Attack Past now flash as was originally intended. (#53)
  • The player can no longer re-enter the intermission area in Attraction Attack Act 2 after passing it, regardless of how the player character enters the level. (#54)
  • Taking damage in Galacnik Gauntlet Zone can no longer reduce the player's ring count below 0. (#55)
  • The player no longer gains double the amount of rings while using the Lightning Shield. (#57)
  • The Sealbot badnik was updated to behave more consistently and improve performance while playing in Frigid Fortress Zone Past. (#31)
  • All applicable enemies now react correctly and consistently when frozen by the Ice Shield's special ability. (#59, #60, #62, #63, #64)
  • Destroying an Ostrich enemy's body when the head is extended now also destroys the head, and the head no longer spawns an extra Little Planet Flower.
  • Waspbot enemies no longer fly in sync and can hover at different positions from one another.
  • The sound of the Whalebot enemies' propellers (Past version) now stops immediately when the enemy is destroyed or frozen, assuming no other instance of the enemy is on screen and not frozen.
  • The Dinobot enemy now waits for the player character to enter a specific range before pouncing, and will drop straight down when frozen in mid-air.
  • The Bubbles enemy will immediately attack after thawing from being frozen. When the enemy stops attacking, any player characters trapped in its orbit will be released at the same speed and direction they were orbiting. When the enemy's not attacking, the water bubbles surrounding it are slightly opaque to help players see its attack range.
  • The crumbling floors in Tidal Tubes Zone Act 2 (Future) now have proper transparency on the top of the platform when they collapse. (#65)
