Spoke Access Groups

There are two teams of community members who have extra access privileges on the repo. Any community member that has completed the criteria for being a member of a group is included.

Spoke Stewards

Spoke Stewards are community members who have submitted at least 3 issues that follow the issue template format.

Spoke Stewards can:

  • Apply labels to issues
  • Assign, close and reopen pull requests

Spoke Stewards cannot:

  • Use labels: “testing on stage”, “testing in production” related to mergability

Spoke Stewards have dedicated time to making the repo a smooth sailing ship. Here is our current list of Stewards:

Spoke Core Contributors

Spoke Core Contributors are community members who have submitted at least 3 pull requests that follow the pull request template format. They have all the privileges of a Spoke Steward with additional privileges related to the repo.

Spoke Core Contributors can:

  • Apply labels to issues
  • Assign, close and reopen pull requests
  • Create branches off the main repo
  • Submit reviews that can approve or block a PR from being merged

Spoke Core Contributors cannot:

  • Merge to main
  • Merge to stage-main
  • Use labels: “testing on stage”, “testing in production” related to mergability

Spoke Core Contributors have supported Spoke through numerous code contributions and keep the project growing and thriving. Here is our current list of Core Contributors:

There is one extra access group to allow members who are not yet stewards or core contributors to review pull requests.

Spoke Reviewers

Spoke Reviewers are community members who have successfully forked the repo and committed to working on an issue.

Spoke Reviewers can:

  • Be assigned to review code

Spoke Reviewers cannot:

  • Apply labels to issues
  • Assign, close and reopen pull requests
  • Create branches off the main repo
  • Submit reviews that can approve or block a PR from being merged
  • Use labels: “testing on stage”, “testing in production” related to mergability
