EDRN Portal Logo Updates
This document describes how to update the logo on the Plone 5 version of the EDRN portal. Please note this document applies only to the Plone 5 version.
- Visit https://edrn.nci.nih.gov/login and log in using an account with Site Manager (or better) access.
- Once logged in, click your name in the Plone control strip (lower left corner of the browser) to open the menu.
- On the menu, select "Site Setup".
- From the control panel that appears, select "Site".
- Under "Site Logo", check the radio button "Replace with new image".
- Use your browser to choose a new file to upload in its place. See image recommendations below.
- At the bottom, click "Save".
That's it. The new logo will be immediately available.
The National Institutes of Health stipulates the look, feel, theme, disposition, demeanor, coloration, tone, and emotional content of the EDRN logo. Do not attempt to create your own. Ask EDRN representatives for an appropriate logo. If you are given a scaled vector image, produce a PNG bitmap with a transparent background about 56 pixels (at 72 PPI) high. Otherwise, ask for a PNG bitmap with a transparent background about 56 pixels (at 72 PPI) high.
