My current open source work is for the X16 computer by the 8 bit guy. It's going to be a game to develop a sufficient library, and then improve with some AI on a constrained memory and MHz budget. This may then develop into a UART serial connection to cloud compute resources for a multiuser gaming experience.

Development has started in Millfork and Gimp for pixel graphics. The X16 is not design final and so sound is not the first thing on the agenda. There is a good emulator in development and so the software could be used on mainstream computers.

The game library and repository will remain open source and free to use even commercially with sufficient changes to graphics, sound and gameplay to warrant being called a new game and not just a better or worse version of the same game (a commercial restriction of variable content).

I can work near enough full time on the project as this will cover most costs. If enough people can do this tier a lot is possible including setting up a coding studio with interested developers making a classic software "house" with conversions to other platforms of popular output.
