Is there an existing request for feature?

  • I have searched the existing issues

What feature would you like?

It would be nice to be able to send a message in situations where there is no Internet connection. Messages are transmitted through a chain of devices using Bluetooth and WiFi.

Anything else?

Something similar makes Briar, but unfortunately their app is only available for Android.

This is being tracked internally on Jira as SES-1937. However, this will be tricky on iOS due to device limitations.

Thank you! I really hope you can make it. It is very important to have a reliable and safe way to communicate in any situation. Unfortunately, totalitarian states are increasingly trying to restrict the Internet (including completely disabling it in some situations).
