Hi, I think I got the same problem, here’s the description:

with some phones(not sure which phone will work like this), iOS will for users permission before giving an app internet access, it asks before giving ANY internet access to a newly installed app

yeah，I'm saying, in setting Sessions didn't have a data usage switch.
The software didn't ask for iOS system for WiFi
And data usage right. I am currently on iOS 17.4.1 iPhone 15 plus.

The app would no way communicate with the internet, cause it has no permission to use internet. It didn't even asked for permission
