IBM Cloud Content Delivery Network (CDN) can be used for a variety of industry solutions-- including media, entertainment, software, gaming, banking, and e-commerce-- to meet the needs of your businesses. IBM Cloud has partnered with Akamai to offer the most comprehensive Content Delivery Network features, while maintaining affordability. Akamai boasts over 200,000 edge servers in over 130 countries, to bring the content closest to where you need it most--your users.
Before you begin using IBM Cloud Content Delivery Network, you'll first need an IBMid. You can then order your Content Delivery Network service through your IBM Cloud Account, or through the new IBM Cloud CDN Customer Portal, depending on your preference.

Existing CDN customers have access to their accounts through the new IBM Cloud CDN portal. If you have an existing account, you can now access your Content Delivery Network from the Network tab, rather than from the Storage tab.
IBM Cloud Content Delivery Network with Akamai includes no extra storage fees, and you only pay for the bandwidth that you use.
