tiggit(1) -- mirror git repositories

SYNOPSIS

tiggit [options]

DESCRIPTION

tiggit(1) simplifies mirroring and updating mirrors of remote git(1) repositories. It also supports a daemon mode which can fully automate the process.

OPTIONS

  • -c, --config=<file>: specify an alternate config file

  • -d, --daemon: run as a daemon, mirroring repositories from config file

  • -h, --help: print usage instructions

  • -v, --verbose: verbose output

  • -V, --version: print version information

COMMANDS

  • list: list all mirrored git repositories

  • mirror <repository>: mirror the specified git repository

  • update [<repository>]: update all or just the specified git repository

ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES

  • TIGGIT_CONFIG: name of config file (default: tiggit.conf)

  • TIGGIT_CONFIG_PATH: path to configuration file (default: /etc)

  • TIGGIT_LOG: name of log file (default: tiggit.log)

  • TIGGIT_LOG_PATH: path to log file (default: /var/log)

  • TIGGIT_MIRRORS_PATH: path to mirrored repositories (default: /Library/GitMirrors)

  • TIGGIT_UPDATE_INTERVAL: seconds between fetching updates to repositories (seconds; default: 900)

FILES

  • /etc/tiggit.conf: Daemon configuration file

  • /Library/GitMirrors: Directory containing git repositories' mirrors

  • /var/log/tiggit.log: Log file
