Bug description

After you have setup UnifiedPush with mollysocket correctly (ie in Molly under Settings -> Notifications -> UnifiedPush the Status is OK), then that status will never be updated automatically.

This is an issue as when the ssl certificate for the UnifiedPush endpoint fails to renew, then:

  • There is no notification/message whatsoever that UnifiedPush stopped working
  • And when you check the settings without changing anything, the Status still says OK even though it's not

Steps to reproduce

  1. Setup molly-FOSS with mollysocket using a ssl certificate with a short validaty
2.Wait until ssl certificate expires and notice that the Status is never updated and no warning is displayed anywhere that a secure connection could not be established to the unifiedpush/mollysocket endpoint

v7.8.1-1.up1-FOSS
