Copy-pasting into MultiSelect

What is your question?

I noticed when pasting into Clay MultiSelect, the pasted text immediately turns into an item, as if it already hit enter on the typed entry. How difficult would it be to set it up so that pasted text is still pending an enter?

Interested in doing this for a particular use case: there is a search API called on the pending text, and maybe the user would like to paste in an alphanumeric string to lookup results.
