Bookmarks are missing.

Apparently they are stored somewhere separately and are constantly lost in case of failures.

At least indicate where they are stored.

Are you talking about the multi file data storage?
There is a file bookmarks.lst inside of the root folder with a comma separated list of node id.
If you help me understand how to reproduce one of such failures I will try to reproduce and make it more robust
