This project is on your personal GitHub account and gives a feeling of being a personal side project more than a recognized project in the Fedora community. Since we wrote about this on the Community Blog, we should move this repo to a place where it feels more closely tied to Fedora.

My suggestion is the Websites & Apps Team on GitLab. This could be a project that brings more heat, light, and love to the work that team is doing, and connects people with other projects under the W&A Team too.

@jwflory, for now I moved the repository to the fedora-infra GitHub namespace so as I am writing this response after having transferred the repository, you will be receiving this reply from the fedora-infra/pagure-exporter repository.

I discussed with @Zlopez today and we decided that it makes more sense to have the repository here than in the Websites and Apps Team repository as this tool is more related to infrastructure, but we would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Keeping this ticket open for now.

Moving it to the Fedora Infra GitHub organization addresses the original issue. Although with this challenge with GitLab API rate limit caps, it is harder to rope in our GitLab points-of-contact to help debug what is going on there.

This is not a challenge unique to this project though, and I think moving more things to GitLab likely needs wider Fedora Infra Team discussion first.
