Oxygen completely ignores the plugin

I recently installed Eclipse Oxygen and wanted to use efxclipse as in previous versions. It shows that it is installed on the marketplace as well as on the "installed software" page (no components missing), but it behaves like it wasn't. I'm missing all the features I normally use:

• JavaFX "new..." templates
• JavaFX preferences page
• JavaFX library (Eclipse uses the fxrt.jar instead, causing a lot of restriction errors)
• fxml editor and such
• SceneBuilder integration

I tried the following installations:

• Eclipse Marketplace
• Eclipse Marketplace on a completely fresh Eclipse install
• "Install new software"

And all behaved the same.
