Is the error string "General system error" known at your end? All the ACDH-CH collections showed this message.

short version - the contentsearch.clarin.eu should recache operation=explain on our FCS endpoint.
Long versions:
Based on our webserver logs the contentsearch.clarin.eu sends a separate search request to each resource available at a given FCS endpoint.
Which means it from time to time caches resources available at a given FCS endpoint using the explain SRU operation.
We have recently (on Monday if I remember correctly) changed PIDs protocol to https in ARCHE which makes the "explain" result fetched before this change invalid.
Anyway the current "explain" results provide correct PIDs so refreshing the contentsearch.clarin.eu "explain" cache for the ARCHE FCS endpoint should resolve the problem.

Not sure if this is still the same problem but the Ankara search string now results in a "Exception: Server did not honour requested SRU version and responded with different version (requested version was VERSION_1_2)" for the ACDH-CH endpoint
