Hi @dingyineversad, I have cooked up an example in the form of a Jupyter Notebook and added it to our new_examples branch. You can see it here.

Ahhh, I added the linearl_path_function recently, so you probably don't have the latest version. You can see the source code here. It's very short, so you can just copy-paste it into your script. You can remove all the docstring text at the top to shorten it up. You'll need to add from collections import namedtuple and you'll also need _parse_histogram function here.
