Would it be helpful if I made a website that would make it easier for users to set up? It could contain a step by step instruction on how to install it. I could also add the readme in an about section. This might make it easier to use for users who aren't familiar with git.

Yes, that could be helpful. (I wish I was doing this in the summer. :P) I am also planning to get some people (and alumni) from Excelsior to write a wiki that will contain tips/how to write an essay, and that could be useful to put on the site as well.

If you want to do it, I have no problem with it.
