Swapping to ZSH

I saw the previous discussion regarding zsh setup during the initial config setup when creating a new jail. However, if a jail already exists, is there a way to install zsh and swap to that shell?

I thought it would be straight forward with just apt install zsh and then chsh -s ($which zsh). But running this does not change the shell to zsh.

I have tried logging out, rebooting the jail, and even just running zsh to see if it will switch; but, it is not switching to zsh. When I check which shell I'm in after running the previous commands (echo $SHELL), it still shows up as /bin/bash.

Is it just not possible to install after a jail has already been created?

I am using the Docker config for the jail.

Not sure what I was doing incorrectly but I was able to resolve this by just installing oh-my-zsh which prompted me to set default shell to zsh which worked.
