Description

A kind of image processing such as cropping the assets or predefined filters could possibly be advantageous for the editors that work and maintain the websites.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to the new Media Module
  2. Select an image
  3. Crop the image
  4. Add a predefined filter to the image

Expected behavior

By editing the pictures with predefined filters or a crop option, editors can determine a more precise appearance which enables a more consistent look of the assets.
The filters can be manually created and selected for every single image to get a consistent look of the images.

Actual behavior

In the current module the cropping works automatically when a picture is selected. You can manually crop an image when editing a page. However, you cannot crop an image in the module which then stays that way and can only be selected cropped.
