Hello,

I am using TwitterColorEmoji-SVGinOT v13.1.0 inside Adobe Illustrator CC 2021. I have an issue that when I copy paste a text that includes emojis, and then I change the font on those emojis to this Twemoji font, sometimes it won't show the emoji and just leave a blank space.

I've seen this usually happens with heart emojis.

Adding the same emoji from the Glyph window works just fine, just when changing the font it disappears. But in the font selection window I can see the emoji in preview just fine.

🤔 I'm not sure why this would happen. The glyph is in the font at the correct unicode position. Does it work on your computer in other applications?

Thank you for your reply @13rac1 , unfortunately I am having the same problem in all Adobe apps. In other apps (such as office etc.) I am unable to test it as it always defaults to Apple's color emoji font. :(

As an update on this, it seems like emojis that use U+FE0F (Variation Selectior-16) have this problem. (Not tested with all emojis, but those that I tested seem to fall into this pattern).

Example on red heart:
Simple heart ❤ (U+2764) - shows as red heart in the font and works normally.
Red heart emoji U+2764 but which uses also U+FE0F doesn't display unless added from the Glyphs window.
